Hello love,

We’re heading into the new year, maybe you’re thinking of trying a new diet, or starting a new resolution to heal your emotional eating.

If you’ve ever set a resolution to “fix” your emotional eating and you feel like you fail a few weeks later, then this video is for you.

Resolutions fail for a few reasons. First of all, they’re usually targeting something you want to fix – like the way you eat. But it’s just really trying to fix a symptom, not the root.

So it doesn’t actually work. You’ll end up falling back into the same trap.

You try to control your food, try to control your body, and focus on fixing all the symptoms. But emotional eating is not a food issue or an exercise issue.

There’s something deeper going on. And if you’re not looking at the root, this pattern isn’t going to shift.

I know you’re probably not craving a smaller body or to look a certain way necessarily. What you’re deeply craving is to feel peace around food and ease in your body.

And those are very valid things to want and desire.

But when you go after them in a very willpower-driven, disciplined way – trying to contort and push yourself into a certain body – you don’t get that result.

Instead you’ll feel tension and stress and like you failed or didn’t get it right. And that just puts you back into the same shame spiral in the same loop that triggers more emotional eating and make you feel more and more dissatisfied with your body and yourself.

I know you want to feel capable, you want to feel like you can navigate your life without turning to food, to manage your stress or your emotions.
