One of the most common things I hear from women is, “I was doing well until this stressful thing happened”. 

Maybe they had parenting stress or something happened to their child. Maybe it’s relationship stress. Financial stress. They feel overwhelmed by life. 

Something came out of the blue and just pulled the rug out from under them. 

And suddenly, food becomes the only thing they can think about. 

The frustrating part is that you’ve been through these cycles before where you’re really stressed, so you turn to food. Then life is calms for a little while and you forget about it. 

But if you have looked around lately, life doesn’t seem to be getting any more calm or stable. We have to learn to ride the waves of life. And we don’t, emotional eating will continue.
