Hi love!
This week I wanted to ask you whether or not you are committed to your health. I know a lot of us eat healthy for a while then go back to old patterns. Trust me I understand that changing the way we eat is hard but there are ways to do it and the benefits are amazing. Sometimes it takes years to change and to be honest I believe as humans we are constantly changing and evolving.
Perhaps we are always tweaking the way we eat 😉 Anyways as a start to the journey we need to commit. Check out the video below for why we may not commit and ways we can commit again!
Thanks for watching and let me know if you have any questions or comments! I hope this video has given you that little boost to re-commit yourself to your health and vitality because we all deserve to be healthy!
To more health,

Hello Michelle! I have been watching your videos and reading your blog posts for a long time now. I like them for the information you deliver, and also because you are a very positive person. I have a question regarding falling off the bandwagon. I eat healthily, living a vegan, gluten, and refined-sugar free lifestyle. I feel great! However, no matter how well things can seem to be going, I always find myself pigging out on food every couple of weeks. It’s still healthy food that I eat, but I just consume excessive amounts of it. I can’t help myself, and I don’t feel that great afterwards! Do you have any tips for portion sizes or how to stop binge eating?
Thank you so much,
Kate
Hi Kate!
Thanks so much for reading and watching – I really appreciate it!
Sometimes our bodies need a bit more food depending on what is going on in our lives. I usually go with the healthy cravings but if you find yourself not feeling your best after eating rather than satisfied then there might be an underlying issue (could be nutritional or emotional).
I have a few questions that may help, of course if I were to speak to you in person I could give the most specific advice. You can reach out to me at [email protected] if you want to set something up!
Do you often feel deprived when eating? What do your meals look like? Are you usually stressed right before you ‘fall off the wagon’?
In this emotional eating video I share about my binge eating experience(s)

Check it out and see if it resonates. I find binge eating related to stuffing our feelings with food. I used to binge eat, then I started binging with healthy food but as I got deeper into my emotional triggers I found I had a better handle on emotional eating. I can now feel the feeling and stop myself from using food to soothe me and instead deal with the actual reasons 🙂
I don’t go by portion sizes because we are all so individual but I do like to say 50-75% of a meal should consist of veggies (salad, sautéed veggies, raw veggies) so you get tons of nutrients and finer to feel full 🙂 When you are nutritionally satisfied your body can stop having cravings but sometimes the cravings lead us in the right direction!
Thanks again for watching!
