If you’ve been trying to heal your emotional eating for months or maybe even years, and you still feel stuck – this might be the reason why.

And it’s probably not what you think.

It’s not that you’re not trying hard enough. It’s not that you don’t have enough discipline or willpower. It’s not that you don’t know enough about nutrition.

The reason might be that you’re avoiding the thing that would actually create sustainable change for you.

Most women that I’ve talked to, and most women I’ve worked with, have tried so many things before they start working with me. They’ve tried the diets, cutting out sugar, working with a personal trainer, they’ve gone to talk therapy, doing somatic work and even psychedelics. They’ve done mindset work and tried to have more control around food.

And every time they try one of these different approaches, there’s hope. Like, “finally, I’ll heal this emotional eating”.

But eventually their emotional eating comes back.

And it’s not that these women aren’t intelligent and motivated.

It’s because they’re trying to solve a root level problem with surface solutions.

So here’s what I’ve noticed.

Let’s dive in:

  • 1:07 Most women want to heal their emotional eating but they aren’t willing to do this.
  • 1:56 Our minds are smart and will distract us from what will create true change in our emotional eating
  • 2:42 Why you get pulled into the shiny-object solutions that don’t create real change.
  • 3:32 Healing requires a willingness to ask the hard questions.
  • 4:49 Program and next steps
