Today I wanted to talk about this battle between your mind and body when you’re an emotional eater. 

It’s something you might feel but not be able to pinpoint and describe. When I was struggling with Emotional Eating I couldn’t put this into words but this is what I felt and see in my clients as well. 

If I reflect back on my journey it felt like there was this battle between my mind and my body. This is one way to start looking at Emotional Eating because it feels like this internal battle.

Our mind says we should eat a certain way, we shouldn’t be overeating, we shouldn’t be emotionally eating, it sounds very judgemental, and critical.

AND our body is going towards the food, emotionally eating and doing things we don’t want it to do. 

There is this internal battle constantly happening. And that doesn’t leave any space for  ease, peace or confidence in the direction we need to take. 

So in order to resolve your Emotional Eating you need to stop this internal battle and bring these 2 parts of you together and integrate them so that they are on the same page and can go in the same direction.
