Today I wanted to talk about all of the areas that are impacted by your emotional eating which are all connected and boils down to one root.

That root is your Emotional Eating pattern – a coping mechanism.

There is a specific way that you need to move through that in order to dissolve all of the symptoms. 

When I look back at my journey with Emotional Eating and those of the women that I work with that have Emotional Eating what I saw was there was a certain pattern emerging.

Emotional Eating was at the root of all of these symptoms we were experiencing. 

So these symptoms can be categorized into 3 main areas. You can see how this resonates for you and how Emotional Eating is at the core of this. 

  • Physically: weight gain, digestive issues, chronic issues, 
  • Mentally/Emotionally: low self esteem, low confidence, shame + guilt spirals, obsessive thoughts about food
  • Relationally/Socially: want to isolate, not go out, prevent yourself from experiencing life because you don’t feel good

When we boil this down it is coming from this main Emotional Eating pattern. When I work with women inside of The Emotional Eating Evolution Program and we get to the root of their pattern and we start meeting their true needs these symptoms start dissolving because they are connected. 

It’s important to note that you don’t just want to do something to physically help yourself, to mentally hep yourself, or push yourself out of your comfort zone, etc.

When you get to the root it unravels all of these other layers.
