Hello love,

When you struggle with emotional eating and have this obsessive relationship to food that is all consuming and no matter what you try you can’t figure it out…

You just want to throw the concept of food out the window and never look at it again.

I get it – I was in the same place.

I had the very same moments where I didn’t want to ever have to think about food again.

So I swung to the other extreme and didn’t care what I ate. I went from obsessively controlling food to eating whatever I wanted to for what ever reason.

What I found from being on both extremes was that I didn’t feel good either way. That taught me was that I needed to learn how to be with food in a more balanced way.

For emotional eaters this is part of the process to helping us move out of our emotional eating pattern.

It’s not everything we need to do but a piece of the puzzle.

Last week I talked about food + mood and how it impacts emotional eating. Today I want to talk about how to create a relationship to food that feels more balanced. One in which food no longer has power over you and you feel sovereign around it.

So when you try the latest diet or ways of eating and you can’t seem to sustain it, you keep emotionally eating or bingeing or disordered eating – something more is going on.

Today I want to share with you what it looks like to have a nourishing relationship to food and some of the deeper steps to get you that place.
