I wanted to share more about emotional eating from an emotional lens. I feel this is not talked about in a deeper way in the emotional eating world.

I want to dive into emotions, what they are and to empower you with that knowledge. 

When I was on my emotional eating journey I started off on the surface; trying the latest diet, overexercising. I thought something was wrong with my body. I was constantly hungry, eating bowls of food. 

I didn’t realize there was a bigger pattern at play and why I was stuck in it. 

In this week’s video I dive deeper into:

-Definition of emotional eating; conscious and unconscious

-What’s going on under emotional eating – the emotions

-How emotions are generated in the body and why emotional eaters hold them in. hold them in out of shame. 

-Why we eat to avoid the emotion. 

-Why we don’t feel our emotions and how that results in health issues.

-Why conventional talk therapy doesn’t work and what does to stop this pattern.
