Today I wanted to dive into how your digestion impacts your mood and your Emotional Eating pattern.

Digestion is often overlooked when you’re an emotional eater. I know when I was on this journey I was trying to plug all of these different holes, these different symptoms I was having. 

So my digestive issues seemed disconnected from my emotional eating and disconnected from what was going on in my life. 

I was going to therapy, to a nutritionist, to a chiropractor a trainer and more. I was doing all of these things to “help me” but all of my symptoms were interconnected. 

For instance in therapy you’re not going to be looking at how food impacts your physical body, your digestion and how that plays into your mood and triggers your emotional eating. 

So at best you’re getting this disjointed way of looking at your emotional eating pattern. At some point I got really frustrated going to all these practitioners and no one seemed to connect the dots. 

They didn’t even know or tell me I was an emotional eater! (I had to figure this out years later)

So I’m going to share with you how digestion is so impactful on this pattern. It’s a piece of the puzzle to resolving your emotional eating and getting you to that ease and confidence around food and in your body.
