Hi love,

Today I wanted to share some products for skincare that are non-toxic and helpful for your skin. These are the products I have been loving lately!

For me skincare is very important. I believe great skin comes from the inside out. This has been my experience. I suffered with acne as a teenager and into my 20s. I took prescriptions and saw dermatologists. It wasn’t until I made the connection to food, nutrition, mindset and emotional health that I saw how these internal factors affected my skin.

Of course,  you want to use products that are not adding to any extra toxicity to your body and that are nourishing your skin externally.

You can check out the video here or keep scrolling!

These are the products I am loving lately. They don’t contain the dirty dozen chemicals. The chemicals on this list should be avoided. There are compounds in the list that are cancer causing and disrupt hormones. Elimination of these 12 chemicals is a great place to start.

The better the quality of the products the better I feel about putting it onto my skin. We absorb about 60% of our skincare into our bloodstream. We are in a way ingesting these compounds.

Here are the products mentioned. I go into a bit more detail in the video but I’ve put links to the brands.

Products Mentioned

Living Libations: I love this company because they use all organic and natural oils. This is super simple and the essential oils used have specific purposes. They also contain high levels of antioxidants.

Everybody loves the Sunshine – great for under sunscree. It contains antioxidants, is anti-inflammatory and locks in moisture.

Frankincense Best Skin Ever – for acne prone skin or skin that is more red.

Dew Dab – great if you have a breakout to help reduce inflammation and heal the skin. It is a liquid.

Zippity Dew Dab Ozonated Beauty Balm – This is great too, I like that it is a balm and has a fresh scent. I alternate back and forth between this and the Dew Dab

Aura Cacia

Tea Tree Oil – super simple but has a very potent smell and is antibacterial. A little drop goes a long way. I haven’t found my skin to be sensitive to it and put a drop on a few times a day if I get a blemish.

True Botanicals

Vitamin C Booster – I love this powdered form of vitamin C. Vitamin C starts to break down when in a liquid formula. In a powdered form it is activated when added to a water based product. Vitamin

Deep Repair Eye Serum – super nourishing and light. I’ve been using it to nourish my eye area since it needed a boost from being a mom (ie my son being sick and then me).

Bronner’s

Dr. Bronner’s Organic Pure Castile Liquid Soap Baby Unscented   I love Bronner’s baby formula because it is very gentle and multipurpose. I use it to wash my face and as a body wash and it is great for my son as well!

I hope this list was helpful and inspiring. Do you have any favourite simple, organic and natural skin care brands?

To glowing skin,
