This smoothie will help you create a healthy body and will help you beam with that elusive GLOW! Everything we put into our bodies has the ability to either create health and beauty or to deplete us of it. This smoothie is simple and contains beautifying ingredients that not only make you FEEL amazing but make you LOOK amazing as well.

Here’s why:

  1. Ingredients

This is YOUR beauty smoothie recipe. It is full of good fats (omega 3’s) from chia seeds that are used as energy, hydrate the skin and help with inflammation; spinach which alkalinizes the body and helps to cleanse the blood (cleaner blood means more beautiful skin); banana which is full of potassium and a potent anti-cancer compound (when the bananas are spotted, of course); hemp seeds which is full of healthy skin-building protein and healthy fats; and raw cacao which is full of antioxidants and phytochemicals that release a surge of feel good chemicals {similar to love} and taste amazing!

  1. Superstar Spinach

Greens are the most nutrient dense food group on the planet gram for gram (yes that includes meat!). Greens even have high-quality, easily-assimilated amino acids – which are the building blocks of protein. For instance gorillas, which are the strongest animal on earth (pound for pound), consume a plant-based green diet and can sustain their muscle mass!

  1. Blend baby blend

Blending liberates the nutrients found in fibrous plants cells making it super easy for the body to absorb all the goodness! Greens in particular need to be worked down to a creamy consistency, but most people don’t chew that much! Blending is the solution, helping your body absorb the maximum amount of nutrition from your greens.

Beauty from the Inside Out Smoothie

Ingredients: all organic if possible

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 handful of ice
  • 2-3 handfuls of baby spinach
  • 1 banana (ripe with spots)
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Directions:

1. Add spinach to water and blend until well mixed.

2. Add ice, chia, hemp and cacao and blend.

3. Finally add the banana and a dash of cinnamon if needed.

4. Enjoy your beautifying, healthy and nourishing elixir!
